There's a train station literally adjacent to the ground, actually.

Tasmania has supported the storm well every trial game they have played there.

Maybe it's time to take a proper nrl game there.
Amazed storm have t seen the business opportunity and play a trial and regular game there with a tassie membership covering them.

This is where the nrl should have a strategy to support clubs to do this type of link up if it ties in with nrl vision for growing the game.

Why have warm up games in NRL grounds when they should really be played else where.

Been saying for a couple of years now that the Sydney clubs seem to be playing more trials in Sydney rather than the bush were they should be.

12k at charity shield

The game used to mean a lot more before All Stars, 9's and WCC took all the attention. Decent for a trial

Should play on the Sunshine Coast, one of there feeder clubs is the Sunshine Coast falcons and the Storm are very well supported on the coast because of the big three.

There was over 10 000 for a trial game where neither Smith, Cronk or Slater played, what sort of crowd and memberships would they get if they played a regular season game?

They seem content at the moment to host part of the double header at Suncorp, I don't think you'd want the storm taking too many games away from AAMI Park.

Had a look at were the AFL trials are being played and it's astounding that the Nrl clubs just persist with trials at the same old sysney grounds in a region that sees 90+ regular season games every year! the charity shield crowds are in terminal decline, maybe they should make this game a roadshow and have it in country areas rather than Olympic Park which apparently nobody likes

Coffs, Port mac, Tamworth, Wagga, Dubbo... The list goes on.....these places should be serviced With trials every year and season matches at intervals as well

Sydney clubs are insular in so many levels, on an international basis, state basis and city basis. mostly run by self serving morons.
