We don't have anyone that can kick any better, is the problem. For some reason Hodko won't f**king kick anymore, which is why he's in reggies. The plan looks to be damage control whenever we have to kick it.
Hokko won't kick because his knees are well and truly f**ked

For the record, Croker's pass was back out of the hands but floated forward. Not a forward pass under the laws.

Well there's a whole circus tent full of clowns in the "Forward Passes" thread who either think that is a forward pass, or even more embarrassingly, that it should be.

But the pass from Croker was definitely forward "out of the hands" (which is also a bit misleading, they all go in a forward direction from the hands, just less forward than the hands if they are not "forward passes").

10 degrees forward....

LOL @ Faders...where's that Premiers weed got to??
No way you could rate them a remote hope this year on their form since that Manly loss at home..

That was pretty impressive given they were running into the wind second half!

He did a forward pass but that is the EXACT type of tackle where a ball that goes back can look forward. A lot of what we think of forward passes is our eyes being tricked by the players holding their position if the ball goes back relative to them. If that illusion is shattered (say by a player being tackled the moment after he passes the ball) a backwards pass can look forward.

On the replay though it clearly came out of Crokers hands forward

It's undeniable.

Two tries to the Knights directly off refereeing f**k-ups, and one disallowed to the Raiders by a refereeing f**k-up.

End result would have been 26-22 to the Raiders if the correct calls were made.
So there wasn't a forward pass in the lead up to Canberra's last try?

Happy to see the Knights get up but we're f**ked for 2017. Its a given that we start slow but with faster linespeeds league-wide and teams aiming up for the time being - I don't think we have the legs to make the top 6, let alone top 4. We've been outdone by enthusiasm three weeks in a row against opposition we should have beaten and the draw only gets tougher from here. Looks like yet another letdown after a promising season, we're used to it.

This doesn't really seem surprising, isn't Josh Papali the only Raiders player to have played Origin? It's not like there a team of superstars.

They have a couple of Kiwi internationals and a Pommy Plodder but those nations are worse than a Qld Cup team and not to mention Ricky Stuart is a dud coach.
Bit inaccurate mate

They have 2 Pommy Plodders.....

Out of all the so called forward passes this weekend, that was the only 1 I can say was definitely thrown forward.

Good to see your honesty
