It wasn't the tackle, it was slowing down the play the ball in a scoring position. Not sure why Gallen wasn't binned.

Imo..a 1 v 1 legs tackle should be rewarded by the defender being allowed to slow it down.

It will help to discourage 3 man wrestling efforts.

Sharks fans have no right to boo at the end there after all the f**king leg ups you got.

Motm - Matt Cecchin. As a reward you get life membership of the Cronulla Sharks. Congratulations.

Lol

Yeah I'd imagine most home crowds would respectfully clap when their team loses by a penatly goal on fulltime. Correct call or not.

Two good sides but so much derp in this game. Gallen gives the game and a top 4 position away.
The Sharks lost by two,but were easily an 18 point worse side territorially.

The Sharks forwards looked tired.Their backline is lively as hell, but there are weaknesses in their armour.

Yep.
Correct call....but a rule interpretation that exemplifies a lot that is wrong with NRL these days.
100% - the fact that a potential neck breaker spear tackle apparently isn't worth a send off, but that is is an absolute joke.

9 wins from their last 12 suggests otherwise. I'd be very surprised if both aren't grand finalists.
So is there room for a side with 11 wins from 13? Maybe you might need to beat them first before claiming a place in the big one.
