NB. Not sure if it is a change from the past but i see the NZ team drew on eligible players currently within the systems of Australian clubs.

It was a combined NZ team. Last week they had a Domestic NZ U18 side play and Australian based U18 side then they selected the NZ U18 from there.

My understand (and i could be wrong) the NZ team that played last night was the U18 Selection, not the full NZ U18 team which is playing Aussie on Saturday (on Sky NZ TV).

Reports i heard was the conditions were horrible for the game last night say that may have kept the score closer than what the game actually was?

Going by the information on the NZRL website your info appears correct.

Though question whether it is a Test series if playing two different teams ?

That said ...just happy to see NZ kids playing !

Typical kiwi side...all aggressive in the haka the give away a penalty first tackle of the game.

0-0 after 20 mins, Aussie look the better of the two teams....few mistakes weather a few showers then sun.

Australia up 10-0 after 37 mins. NZ team not very impressive at all. If they don't change their attitude soon it could be a big score against them.

Halftime 10-4 to Aussie.

Australia came close to scoring just behalf time but dropped the ball. The following set the gave away two penalties and the Kiwis scored in the corner on half time.

Australias two tries even been well constructed to Haze Dunster and David Fifita. But then again poor inside defence allowed those tries.Mawene Hiroti scored a wonderful try on halftime after a nice show of hands from the fullback and centre.

Australia has a far superior kicking game to the NZ team.
