Good to see. Congrats to them.
Maybe they could move grounds up the road to andrews road where Penrith rugby were now that they have been kicked out of the shute shield, would be a better ground for a massey team

They played at the Penrith Rugby ground last time they were in.

My understanding with NRL clubs feeder arrangements is that they have NRL, ISP and 20s as their primary feed, and overflow players from ISP generally drop to the associated RMC side and surplus U20s to the Shield feeder.

Obviously this isn't a cover-all as not all clubs are linked through an NRL pathway but its how I understand it works at least for the Dogs (ISP - Cabra RMC, Flegg - Moorebank SS)
Norths Flegg this year have had their players (outside of Souths development players) at ISP, RMC and SS.

ISP/RMC/SS: Sean Sabutey

ISP: Jake Tago, Keaon Koloamatangi, Tarquinn Butler

RM/SS: Kyle Tukapua, Trey Brown, Kane Allen

SS: Jayden Griffen, Dante Talai

Cool. So the blokes playing RMC and SS are playing at asquith?

So will the roosters team up with norths if the Souths- Norths deal ends ???

A couple of interesting points. I was talking to a mate who is involved with one of the clubs that the roosters have been talking to. there really hasn't been much discussion at all between Roosters and the Bears at all. The other probably more interesting thing is that its not really about Carney. It got a lot more to do with a disagreement about souths sending back players that are not near ISP standard and making Norths play them

Can't imagine much talk between Roosters and Norths while Norths are still with Souths. Norths shot themselves in the foot from pre season signing 4-5 players to their ISP squad, leaving them with no choice but to use those Souths players while also dipping into Asquith's stocks. They have no1 to blame but themselves in my opinion. On top of that the 4-5 players Norths did sign are average and fringe ISP players. Going forward if Norths and Roosters do link up I believe it would be quite beneficial for both clubs. Norths receive quality players back as you would imagine Roosters would have a large squad and Roosters have a good feeder system lined up to Norths with Asquith possibly being a beneficiary down the chain

Makes sense. They've had a number of Flegg players in ISP, some of whom have been dropped back to Asquith after not making Flegg and have been Sydney Shield quality at best.

Kaveinga, Kennedy and Brittain are ok and theyve got Curtis Johnston back. Reweti's just come back last week from an injury sustained last year so bit early to comment. The rest are probably fringe ISP level

Glebe-Burwood broke a two-game losing streak with a 32-16 win over Penrith Brothers at Hickeys Reserve. Addison Demetriou proved the difference, grabbing a hat trick and generally troubling the Brothers defence.

Other RMC results

Guildford 44 Wests 22
Cabra 26 St Marys 20
Mounties 24 Asquith 19
Wenty 40 Blacktown 18

Having already lost Josh Lewis in Round 3, yesterday Guildford went into the game without halves Lopeti Wolfgram and Troy Errington but replacement Aaron Grech, a late comer to this level of the game scored a hat trick. Wenty trailed 18-6 after 25 minutes but it appears that it was all one way traffic after that.

Cabra managed to win despite the absence of Frank Pritchard and the final game at Storey Park was quite a decent standard, with the teams trading blows throughout the game until Jon Grimes took the field goal from close range 9 minutes from time to add to Amanaki Veamatahau's 3 tries and 3 goals for a 19-18 lead, however, Mounties surged again and prop Mitch Kennedy crashed over and Mounties held on in the final minutes.

The Cabra/ St Marys game was pretty decent. Cabra without a recognised half played reasonably controlled for once and played very strong. St Mary's were not out of the game and in the last 10 mins Cabra surprisingly decided they were going to play catch up and the SM right wing showed wonderful speed to score a great solo try to bring the game within 6.

As Flegg players can play for SS/RMC can SS/RMC players play for Flegg?

On the weekend Corey Browne-Highinbotham played his first game for Norths Flegg however his prior games this season were for Asquith SS. Is it possible that a player could be contracted to Asquith and play for Norths Flegg (as they can with ISP)?

As long as they don’t turn 21 this year, then it shouldn’t be a problem.

Why not - Asquith is a junior club of the North Sydney District. Corey BH and a few other Asquith SS players are also registered with Forestville in the Northern Conference A grade.
