I don’t agree he didn’t pick himself. Has been a hardworking rock for Souths this year. Not quite as dynamic as last year but still a form second rower

He also has a Roosters contract which is instant increase in NSW Blues eligibility
No, I literally mean he wasn't one of the selectors. The same as Jamie Buhrer wasn't when he was picked.

Seems to me that the Great Gods of Origin do not like a clean sweep. Thus Qld had all the fun last night just as NSW did in the corresponding game two years ago.

Where do NSW find brain dead merkins like Tarim Sims? Just a long line of loose f**king cannons who seem to be left edge forwards that play ill-disciplined and give away penalties at crucial times - Bird, Graham, now Sims.

Seriously, give me Plodner dying with the ball every tackle and keeping his nose clean in defence

Yep better team won the series but the best team won the last game as hard as that is to admit for some NSW fans.
They actually should have won by 30 if we are being honest.
At one point
8 - 1 penalty count against NSW
One bloke in the bin
Qld had over 70% of the ball
Somehow NSW got in front.

Doesn’t matter anyway
NSW won the only games that mattered.

Tariq confirmed what most of us have known for a while.

He’s a pot plant of epic proportions.

And then followed closely by Klemmer and Ben Hunt.

Hunt put in another nothing kick at a crucial moment on tackle 4 that no other QLDer but himself knew was coming. It'd be great to analyse what's going on in his brain at these moments

With all the slater stuff about him winning the medal....there's no doubt he was a massive difference when he was in the QLD team and with ball in his hand. From only being able to score from kicks and an intercept in game 1 (without him) to the assists he provided in games 2 and 3 and the sparks up the middle.

Teddy had a great game 1 but was less effective once slater was in and organising defence in the games 2 and 3.

Cook was spark. Probably hard done by not to win the medal

When he did it, i looked around at the bay I was sitting in and everyones head was just shaking and a few choice words were being thrown around. Look the guy can play, but he lacks composure at crucial moments. And the other thing is he played nearly double the minutes of McCullough? I havent seen the replay of the game yet but I don’t recall any injuries to any other player causing an interchange shuffle, he was going fine in the first 30 mins, there was no need to pull him and sit him for the rest of the game.

Poor tactics for mine.

Can't help but laugh at the photo of the Sims brothers together with Tariq in sky blue and his Gerringong born and raised brother in Maroon. What a joke that would be if brothers opposed each other in origin.

Happy to be proved wrong, but I think he moved to Brisbane at 15 to live with his older brothers. Got selected for QLD U16’s and from that point on has to be considered for QLD with the new rules? It’s similar but states flipped for Keary. Moves to Sydney after growing up in Ipswich as a mid teen, plays NSW U16’s and is tagged with that state from that point on even after Keary requests to be tagged to QLD.

Ridiculous in both situations.

You're correct but don't introduce facts into an opportunity for everyone to laugh at Korbin Sims.
