If money were an issue for the Roosters they'd consider transferring this game to Newcastle, where it would get 27,000. At Allianz it'll get that minus the 2, mostly Knights fans who've jumped the rattler. I think the Roosters will win this pretty well, despite the best efforts of the dogged one on his return home.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I want Pearce to get some of his own back on the Roosters and the Knights to win. I lost a lot of respect for Cronk after his prolonged decision last year, keeping people guessing as to whether he was retiring or playing on and then he chose to join an already strong team to come and play for and pushed the club's halfback of 10 years out of the club. Knights by a Pearce field goal would be nice to see honestly, and usually I don't like Pearce.

I was sympathetic towards Pearce and his decision to depart after the Cronk signing but the fact he chooses to have a subtle dig at the chooks supporters who stood by him both for his multiple misdemeanours and multiple failures at origin just shows the type of classless character he really is. He singlehandedly derailed our 2016 season and the club and fans stood by him. I don’t expect him to sing the clubs praises but at least shut your mouth. Wishful thinking but I hope we put 50 on them.
Chooks by 12.

To be fair I don't think he did that deliberately, I think he was in two minds and also didn't want to play for anyone else.
And also his partner lives in Sydney so he was always going to play for the Roosters.

On the other hand I do hope the knights win for Pearce, he was dropped like a bag of potatoes.
I'm sure he'll be fired up.
Also Ponga vs Tedesco.
