I know Brennan is a rookie NRL coach but surely he's not rookie enough not to put decent defenders either side of Bryce. What is seemingly not realised is that Bryce would have pulled the Sharks game out of the fire if Ryan James could have held a regulation offload.

Bryce's problems in defence more involve being stepped by ball runners with footwork, like Tedesco, rather than not being able to tackle the big blokes.
