The way Gus was speaking on 100% footy over the last few weeks, it sounds like the halves have been locked in and it will be a massive surprise. His actual quote last night was something along the lines of 'you could have 30, 40 guesses and you wouldn't pick them'.

He said that Freddy wants to start with a clean slate of young and hungry players and that there won't be many players at all who have been there previously.... so that casts massive doubts over players who you would assume would be in the 17 like Maloney, Ferguson, Dugan. Cordner can probably consider himself lucky he got named captain + Freddy has always had a hard-on for him.

Ballsy approach by Fittler... if it works he will be a genius if it fails though he will get hammered.
