With the series potentially going until September 16, those last 2 tests could be heavily affected by bad weather.

Another 4 day Test for the Poms vs Ireland. Not sure I'm a fan of random Test matches being 4 days and others 5.

I can deal with 4 day test matches, but don't like that the de-facto/default over per day limit has been set at 98 (based on the 4 day South Africa vs Zimbabwe day/night test, and this England vs Ireland). That is 58 overs lost from a standard 90 over per day, 5 day test match, which is quite a lot.

4 day tests should be 105 overs per day, meaning only 1 session (30 overs) is lost.
3 x 2 hr 20 min sessions.
