I usually cop the fine in council elections
Nazi, Marxist, same girl different pants
If a civil union was a marriage theydsay they support marriage between gays but they don't
What about misogyny, something the catholics practice ?
Are you on board with it
So Catholics can and did vote “Yes” in the recent SSM postal survey without rebuke, let alone ex-communication from the church, and it’s only your opinion “that they shouldn’t call themselves Catholics” just to suit your agenda?
Awesome. Glad we’ve finally got it sorted.
Yeah same, occasionally do in state and federal as well.
Basically I aint all that interested unless I can vote for someone, not just vote against someone.
Abbott will remain the exception to that rule.
Wasted you vote anyway. He isn't getting rolled in that electorate. I see a future of political dissatisfaction for you in that part of Sydney. Nice area though.
Sorry, that's cast my vote against the party which he was the leader, I do not live in his electorate. Hell, I don't even live in Sydney, and thank f**k for that.
Mate, Sydney's awesome if you live South of Chatswood, East of Ashfield and North of the Airport...No idea what you're talking about.
I lived in the inner west for years, and worked mostly in the west , so the commute wasn't all that bad. Just too many god damned merkins.
Don't get me wrong, Sydney's got a lot going for it, just too many f**king people for my liking.
Man I've lived in megacities for a decade. Sydney is positively luxurious in terms of space.
People do look at me like I'm touched when I get pissed off at missing a bus that comes every ten minutes though.
So the Catholic church won't Marry gays
Glad that's sorted
The Catholic Church won't marry lots of people. This is news to you?
Guess what? The Catholic Church won’t marry people who have been previously divorced either.
They also won’t marry people of a different faith or are agnostic/atheist unless the Spouse they’re marrying is Catholic.
Does that suck? Absolutely, but whilst the SSM postal vote was never to gauge opinion on whether we should change the definition of marriage in the Catholic Church, it’s hardly relevant, is it?
It's amazing how spoilt you get. I can remember feeling genuine frustration that I had to wait 4 minutes for the next tube in London.
Sydney is where it's at. Working in the city is as good as it gets, you are a part of the best we have to offer.
Unfortunately though there are still plenty of donkeys out there who believe that after they've parted with "their" tax dollars it's still theirs to decide what it gets spent on. Of course if a political party decides to run on the platform of privatising the ABC then they can certainly decide to vote for them, but there ends their control over "their" tax dollars.
Who'd want to travel into Sydney city and back everyday for work, particularly if it's a long commute.
Nope, nope nope...
Just living there in general would be bad enough.
The fine for missing council elections was more than federal which i found odd. Can't say i am a fan of political parties in council elections so refrained from voting on those grounds.
State (Qld) and Federal has been simply because neither merkin deserves my vote. I turn up now days but vote informal. They aren't getting my money simply because the options they present are rubbish.
$70 in my local government electorate.
Got fined inadvertently about 6 years ago. I make sure I vote now. I'm not blowing $70 "on principle"
I’m not blowing anything either
That's what she said...
