Yeah, Malan was overdue for a dropping.

That gives England 3 wicket keepers for the next test now, with Ben Foakes still waiting for a chance. Positively Sri Lankan.Pope should stiffen up the fielding at slip being a wicket keeper hopefully.

Stokes is likely out with a court appearance, with 2 of Sam Curran, Chris Woakes and Moeen Ali to play the #6 and #8 roles.

So either way England lose some batting, and judging by the way he has been bowling of late, some bowling too.

England batting is in trouble, but India's fancy batting line up is struggling no end with swing, so hopefully some more cloud cover (despite what some scientists argue).
