We will probably go with the same side as test 1

India still favourites to win series, though 1 more test win to us and we retain the Border/Gavaskar trophy - who would have thought it be possible?

1st round of the NRL as well

Hope Australia wins by an innings on another dust bowl. I bet the BCCI are sending super soakers and other watering devices to get some juice into the wicket because they're scared of Warnies not so much mate SOK. What a legendary performance - best test performance of the last 3-4 years I reckon.

SOK will no doubt be dropped, probabaly for Jackson Bird, its just how our selectors roll.

Personally I would piss Darsh off for Oozie and if its possible to get Neville on a plane, I'd book it now.

Same team for us. Would like to see Oozie for MMarsh but probably won't happen. Other than that the team picks itself now.

Be interesting to see what kind of pitch they come up with. The Pune pitch was quite bouncy for an Indian pitch. Doubt we'll be seeing that again. Low and slow will be the way for the rest of the series I'd say.

Oozie in for MMarsh should be the only change.

Correct.

Maybe, maybe an extra quick if the Indians can change the pitch in time...but you'd be hard pressed to drop either spinner, as well. First time I can remember India being spun out at home, they both deserve to stay

How long can you persevere with a white ball specialist that doesn't threaten and just keeps a tight line ? Agar or Swepson must come in

It's one thing to drop a fast bowler straight after making a double century, but quite another to drop a bowler of any kind straight after getting 12 wickets for 70 against the No 1 side in their own backyard.

They probably think this was a once in a liftime occurrence, but still they should give him one more game. If a spinner should be dropped, maybe it should be Lyon.

Yeah SOK deserves one more test at least........

SOK and Lyon are both auto picks for the rest of the series barring injury. The selectors will stick with what worked, why change it.

The pitches wil only get lower and slower from here. No reason to change anything.

Bangalore might be a turner because they probably haven't got time to change it much, but I reckon the BCCI have got the other two grounds working feverishly on producing lifeless roads so they can actually be guaranteed they'll score runs. So changes might be warranted then, potentially.

Yes I expect the pitches will be fairly slow and lifeless from here on but the selectors will still see the bowling attack from the first test as the right one for those conditions.

Unless one of the spinners takes an absolute pasting there's no reason either would get dropped for the remainder of the series.

I didn't even realise this, a drawn series is a drawn series but it would mean the absolute world to this team.

100% agree. A drawn series would be absolutely fantastic. Would be great if we jagged another win in the next three tests
