The evil ABC strikes again
How much dick have you taken
Don't blame ABC2. They had the right idea, getting a few comedians in to make it entertaining.
They just forgot to hire comedians.
Yeah, doesn't surprise me given Lowy is at the helm (you know what I mean, reading between the lines). I guess some things run in the family, as they say
The game still got 72,892. Wouldn't say the novelty has worn off yet, even if Liverpool didn't field their strongest side.
None champion. I can't stand Liverpool but at the end of the day it still should have been treated with a bit more respect.
I don't think they'd treat an international friendly like that.
That halftime report was pretty cringey, but people like Robbie Slater need to stop taking themselves so seriously. "Bagged and disrespected!" How insecure are you about the sport?
I think it's more how others perceive how Australia views the sport.
Well it was a pretty accurate portrayal on that front tbf.
Steve mcmanaman played he's 45 and had just got off a plane a from England a few hours earlier. It was hardly a serious game to start with.
I will admit that asian kid was the most cringy thing I have seen on TV in sometime though.
I did turn it off at half time though as there was no entertainment in seeing Sydney FC get floged by a geriatric Liverpool side stuck in first gear.
Haha, yeah there's truth to that I suppose.
I guess if Nein put on a bunch of Z grade comedians* to open state of origin we'd probably have the shits too.
* only instance this would be acceptable if it were Roy and HG.
I don't know if there was any charge but apparently none of the commercial free to air networks nor Fox Sports wanted to televise the match. The ABC was the only one who did.
