The paradise of somalia....
So its a mong comment .ok
Ftr I don't want the ABC defunded. They produce some quality news and investigative content and along with SBS it's the only FTA I watch.
That being said, surely no one can keep a straight face when suggesting that they're not left leaning.
As I said I watch the ABC a lot - so obviously their political leanings don't bother me - but... it's obvious, right?
I would say that depends a lot on your definition of what is left and right.
For mine I would say they certainly lean towards being progressive rather than conservative, Which is often used as a proxy for left / right, however that's not entirely accurate either.
Yes, the left is generally more progressive, and yes conservative is generally associated with the right, but neither is the exclusive domain of the other.
I don’t watch a lot of tv but I listen to JJJ all the time. The presenters usually lean left but that’s probs in line with the larger portion of their target audience.
Not that they spend long talking about political issues generally, outside of hack.
Bunch of up themselves Elitist 40 yo wankers masquerading as the voice of youth
Right up totz lolz mongs avenue
And if you’re in your 40’s and still listen to the Jays?
Hey listen away
Just don’t ( this isn’t directed at you Jim) act like you’re better than everybody else because you listen to jjj
Perish the thought.
FTR, I don’t listen to the Jays as am not really a fan of the music but my best mate who is in his 40’s is an avid listener.
I have been criticised for being a Linkin Park fan whilst I’m in my 40’s.
The entire band are in their 40’s FFS.
Ergo - (and now understand this was not the point you were making Butch) - Not sure why someone’s age group should somehow correlate with their taste in music/band/radio station fan base?
I listen to ABC Classic FM because I'm a nerd and it's soothing af to start the day.
If they ever cut that I'll start a riot.
I’ve heard a number of folk say they are too old for JJJ.
I don’t get that at all, is there a cut off for when one should stop liking or listening to certain types of music?
Tis very strange.
I also like that I don’t get bombarded with numerous repetitive ads after every couple of songs or so which is a massive added bonus.
You sound like a grandpa there.
How many presenters are 40? I generally only get to listen to the breakfast guys and afternoon presenters and they aren’t. The breakfast guys would be early 20’s at most from what they talk about I’d have thought.
Yes, it is a strange phenomenon.
According to Smack, In my early 40’s I shouldn’t be listening to Linkin Park “because their fan base are a bunch of sulking teenagers” This is despite the fact that the band themselves are in their 40’s.
I guess the boys themselves shouldn’t have been fans of their own music due to their age?
JJJ is about the only thing I can agree with Mong on.
Not enough country
He didn’t really say that, did he?
Something along those lines...
calm down there champ, I was having a joke with you
