we are to good a club for a grub like Blair, he is one of the dirtiest players going around and I don't want to see him in the red v no matter how good he might be

Don't want either. Blair will be a massive dissapointment. Graham has no go forward.

3 year contract at age 31 is crazy.
Blair is on the down slide, makes lots of mistakes and is a penalty magnet.
If you look at his performance against Parra - not even with a barge pole.

I thought I read somewhere we were extremely unimpressed with something that went down when we met Blair.

I'd be surprised if we "ramped up" our pursuit of Blair. More than likely a ploy to put the wind up the Dogs...

...then again I could be thinking too highly of our management :joy:

Must not forget we need a top class outside back as well - winger or right centre

    Brett Morris
    Curtis Rona etc...

Don't want Blair, we just got rid of one deadhead, we don't need another.

I wouldn't take either Morris either.

Manly got home with one to spare and Dugan doesn't care. Supporting the Dragons, it's little wonder I'm losing hair.

We need them more than we need forwards.
    Rona would be great

As long as we done miss out on both I'm ok. I think either will be good signings.

Could just be gamesmanship with Blair...

We wouldn't want the Bulldogs to think we had all our eggs in one basket with Graham. It would reduce our bargaining capital if we did, especially as we are asking them to carry a heavy portion of the can.

Who would know though.. our recruitment is a strange beast at times.

I just get the feeling that Blair could be one of the worst.. so here's hoping he is just a pawn in a bigger game.

    Are we that smart though?

    No thanks to Blair.
He is a lazy turd that has errors, penalties and poor go forward.
Graham much better option on field and off.

I don't know why this Blair thing is even getting traction. Millward specifically said that there are no front rowers currently on the market that they want. They were wanting to be patient like they were with Paul Vaughan.
