Funnily enough you shot your own argument in the foot with your superbowl argument... kids in NZ can therefore "watch some of it" seeing as the match starts at latest 7pm.

Next you'll be telling me the FIFA World Cup in 2010 should kick off at a certain time in South Africa to cater to Australia because football is becoming a big sport here?

Maybe you might want to read your own post where you state the match started at 9pm in NZ. IT's the Superbowl that goes for 4 hours, not Rugby League.

As for the World Cup, you are kidding yourself if you think many parents let there kids stay up to watch it if there was school the next day. Not to mention their were replays the next day for all the Australian matches, so many kids would have been content with watching that.
