Paul merkin hates him and pulls the knives out everytime Fifitas name is mentioned. Same with Tallis he hates Fifita and despises that he is compared to Artie.
Its no secret Fifita is a mental case but when he is on he is the best forward in the world.

Fifita played one good game in Origin 1 and thought it was enough for him to be rated higher than Super Impose and Red Anchor

I don't think Fifita was compared to Artie in stature by anyone that matters, a couple of his games were reminiscent of Artie's mannerism. All Andrew has to do is replicate in this year's cup final what he did in last year's . . . one game Wankerland will be aglow for another 6 months afterwards

A couple of great games doesn't make you Arthur Beetson

Plus, from most accounts, there was much more to Beetson than the footballer

Artie wasn't immune to problems on and off the field, none of them catastrophic his single mindedness and almost unique talent matched that of Joey . . . no-one ever stood over Artie with ball or fists

Please. The best forward in the world doesn't get completely nullified in two straight games after talking it up big especially prior to game 3 and refusing to put the team first. He can be very destructive on his day but he's a long way from the best forward in the world.

Surprised the comparison wasn't against Carl Webb then. Much more appropriate.

Also add in that, despite the public talk, Artie was a dedicated and hard trainer when he played. His only issue was he liked a good feed. His team mates, especially at the Roosters and Parramatta, said he would train the house down every session.

Ha. Nope. I just hope a few on here feel a little bit stupid for taking anything Kent says as fact.
