thought of this thread today, had a mult on the sevens world cup and 4 teams in a row f&*ked up and didn't catch the short kickoff.

I actually thought that in the good old days when kicking tees first came in their height was dictated by how big you can build a sand castle .. Feldt must be really good at building sand castles.

Well there you go. I thought I read he had a higher tee?

Pat Richards was the original master, can’t recall anyone whinging about his sky scraper kick offs.

For mine Rugby League hasn't needed this nonsense for 100 years.

Ban the super high kicking tee. I'm not saying bring back the sand bucket, but the team that just scores a try deserves the ball back.

In saying that, it's the Cowboys most likely try scoring play.

It isn't against any rules but for mine it's against what Rugby League is about.

Thoughts?
It's not helping NQ much in '18

I think you should be able to bring a specialist kick off receiver into the field. They have to get off within 40 seconds of the kick off having been taken and the player they replaced must come back on.

I’ll go one step further. Let’s allow a kick off team, receiving team, attacking team and defensive team. We can stop play every time there is a tackle as well. :p
