I understand that but we still need a threat out wide to stretch the defensive line a bit. Opponents know that they can focus on defending the middle of the park because we haven't really got a threat out wide. We've seen the Bulldogs fall behind the times recently and we're not far from joining them.

True but at the same time, they rarely come inside looking for it

Well that's probably how Madge coaches them.

Definitely agree. Auva'a and Walkers roles in the 2014 premiership are underrated. Walker took pressure of Inglis. The games where inglis was smothered by opposition defences were usually the games Walker thrived in. Auva'a was great in the grand final itself. Having those threats (along with aj) meant 2nd rowers had to defend more spread out towards the edges helping our forwards out up the middle. All these little things have an effect
