Put aline through Robbie Paul, Joe Vagana, Lesley Vainikolo, Shontayne Hape and Tevita Vaikona as well. If Wigan win this weekend, then Craig Smith is gone as well.

Stupid time to play a test.

Huh?

Both those wingers are excellent players. Neither are as good as Meli at his absolute best, but there's not much in it otherwise. Vaikona has been the best winger in England for years, and deserves a shot with the Kiwis. (Even though he's really a Tongan).

October is the perfect time to play a test.
It's a silly time to play a Grand Final.

Craig Smith is the most effective tackler in SL and is in the Opta Stats Team of the Year. HTH.

Vainokolo is an awesome player, he should have been set for a great career with the Kiwis but unfortunately the way things are these days, if you go to Britain you forfeit an international career.

Meli is my all-time favourite player but in all honesty Vainokolo probably has the edge on him, he is bigger and probably did more in his brief time in the Kiwi jersey.

God I hope Francis turns in a decent performance this time.
