Kudos to the NZRL for hooking up that great commemrative strip. It just added that bit extra,(along with the haka) on a special day. Shitty national anthems though.

Keep that strip NZ i thought it was wonderful, at the same time i would like to mention the passion the players showed yesterday.

Agreed, the NZ jersey was really striking. Was it a recreation of an older jersey (considering it was a centenary game)? Looked familiar, but not in recent years. Or am I dreaming?

it was a replica of the 1953 jersey that was the last time the Kiwis took a series of Australia.

It was good to see both teams back in their normal uniforms.

The Kiwi strip would look even better with black and white hooped socks I reckon.
