who missed two good chances early on in this same match? At least Beckham created several opportunities as opposed to Ronaldo, whom, by all accounts, didn't do squat all match.
Off Topic: Anyone else find it somewhat funny (ironic) that David Robert Joseph Beckham has chosen to wear shirt number 23 whilst at Real...Michael Jordans number? I've heard it mentioned several times now by soccer fans, as well as D.B in an interview he did with US Real Sports, that Beckham insisted on this because he has great desires and realistic expectations to break into the US market. :-$
I can't fathom why...given soccer's success in the USA, or lackthereof, in comparison to Europe.
