Seems like your real complaint is with the media, and how it's presented.

Outrage over the US equivalent of a Curiosity Show host, is dredging new depths even for righties like yourself.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "real complaint". The article posted by the OP makes it quite clear that the issue with Nye is how the media presents him as an expert during genuine news broadcasts on topics of which he has no formal education. Its pretty much the point of the entire article.

His so-called "curiosity show" hosting isn't brought into question, probably because he hasn't done that in 20 years.

He appears on various news programs as a resident expert on several topics, often to just parrot a few statistics or more commonly to drip hot sweaty gobs of arrogance all over some dullard right wing pundit who wants to try and deny climate change. Normally this is done without presenting any scientific studies or findings to retort whatever his opponent is saying, instead just arguing from a position of authority and belittling the intelligence of anyone who doesn't agree.

Its basically what should be serious news outlets sacrificing quality of reporting in the name of appealing to the masses with the friendly science man from their youth.

lol. if this joker was wheeled out as an 'expert' and disputed climate change the left and greenies would be furious

because he is pro climate change no one can see what the big deal is

the point in the article, as far as i can tell, is an actual scientist getting the shits that this goose gets all the tv gigs and actually has no idea what he is talking about. fair call too. but sadly thats just TV these days and most of us recognise that climate change advocacy isnt really about science all that much these days anyway

The point in the article is anti-science climate change deniers trolling science educators.

So an actual expert is upset, and you side with the fraud because he agrees with your political views? Lol.

Yeah your climate change denial 'expert' is sooking because no one pays any attention to him.

    Someone needs a hug.

And why do you continually post right wing trash?

    Let me guess.

    Because that's your political view.

Do you deny anything that the article is saying about your fraudulent hero?

    Now here's a surprise....

Weather Channel co-founder John Coleman prefers conspiracies to climate science
John Coleman hasn’t been affiliated with The Weather Channel for over 30 years, rejects climate science, and advances conspiracy theories

On CNN, Coleman claimed to be a scientist. He’s been a TV weatherman for over 60 years, but his degree is in journalism.

    So not a scientist.....

Point 3 is wrong. Humans arent created at fertilisation. The fertilised egg needs to be implanted in the womb. A lot of fertilised eggs are indeed lost naturally.

Point 1 is wrong. Both hot atmospheres and hot oceans cause strong hurricanes. The hotter the atmosphere, the hotter the sucking effect therefore the wetter the hurricane.

Hes a weatherman with a passing interest in climate change ? If the article is built on the premise that bill nye is no scientist because he only has a bachelor degree in an engineering subject from a million years ago then its a bit rich to hold the weatherman bitch up as an expert no ?

A guy who has a degree in journalism from the even more distant past

What does that have to do with Nye being a science fraud?

Well i clicked on your article and the main argument appeared to be a guy on reddit calling him out for only having a bachelors in engineering from a long time ago. Yet the article seems to be quoting a weatherman bitch pretending to be offended that bill nye gets attention. A weatherman with a bachelor degree in journalism (so not even a stem subject) from a long time ago.

The article does more than quote the creator of the weather channel.

Ok so we have established that the article is hypocritical and an example of right wing sjw

So what have we established an entertaining man is allowed to comment on science issues without the relevant credentials if they have right wing opinions. I learn so much on this forum about hypocrisy.
