Jaques brings up his ton. Lead now 385 with 20 overs (minus 2 for the change of innings) left today.

Declaration might still be a bit off and the 'tards will be chasing 400+ with about 105 - 110 overs I reckon.

You are missing Mark Cameron, who has an outstanding Shield record, Ben Rohrer who is possibly one of the best T20 batsmen in NSW, Casson who is playing today and has represented Australia before too, Henriques who has also represented Australia, Starc who has represented Australia, and Peter Forrest who is quite talented IMO.

Assuming that Smith, Bollinger, Clarke, Watson and Haddin play with the Australian team...

Hughes (Warner in limited overs)
Jaques
Khawaja
Katich
Thornely
Henriques
Nevill (Smith in limited overs)
Hauritz
Starc
Clark (c)
Cameron (Cummins in limited overs)

That is one hell of a line-up. Maddinson, Rohreh, Forrest, O'Keefe, Copeland and Hazlewood can't even crack that.

Thornely , Henriques , Starc Wont make the $ day team unless alot of injuries....

Cameron will have a task to make it if Cummins gets a go and takes some wickets..

Hughes
Maddinson
Jaques
Khawaja
Katich
Warner
Nevill
Hauritz/Okeefe
Copeland
Clark (c)
Cameron

Top 6 all openers ..... lol

Lead now over 400 and Jaques trying reverse sweeps! Declaration must be coming soon.

Jaques finally out for 125 playing a reverse sweep. Lead is 430 but Moises is coming out to bat. Only 9 overs to go, so it seems a real waste we're not bowling now. The game is well out of Victoria's reach. I hope it's not Moises making this call.

Rohrer gone for 88. NSW now wasting time they could be using to take wickets. Bad captaincy here even if we're down a quick.

Declaration at 5/296 setting the Vics exactly 450 to win. Only a few overs left tonight.

Actually that's Stumps. What a waste. They were never going to get near 400 so we've wasted at least half an hour we could have been bowling.

Can't believe they didn't declare earlier, 400 should have been plenty. This negative first approach that has crept into Australian cricket in recent times is a worry. You should be always looking to win at all costs.

It's a looooong way from Geoff Lawson declaring the first innings at 0/0 to try and force a result in a rain affected match.

There's a big difference between playing it safe and making it tough to win a game you've dominated from the first over. 350 would have been 95% safe, but they got there too soon. 400 was 99.99% safe and gave us a good 12-15 overs at them tonight. We could easily have had them 3 down and the game as good as won.

We will still probably win well enough tomorrow, but I can just see us having them 9/250 at stumps.

Copeland is getting it to reverse by the looks. Almost had Finch LB to one that tailed in.

Good session for the Vics. We probably now need 4 wickets in the next session to still have a realistic shot at victory.
