Yeah the 'player welfare' aspect is basically bullshit as they were already clear of the area and would have scored about 5 seconds later. But if the pocket ref blows time off I suppose that's it. Still not the right call.
Gillett and McGuire are utter f**kwits though. Why would you want them talking to the refs? At least Blair can string more than three words together.
Their scramble was very good but it benefited from being offside every tackle and holding down the tackled player on the first two or three tackles of each set.
