The worst thing about Tighe being gone for next season is that he had a good game last week.
I have noticed all through the grades that he is a huge confidence player.
When he was named in rep sides in the juniors he would be the best player for the Knights for a month - and when he first had a good game at centre when switched there in PL he played the house down till promoted to firstgrade - but when dropped back to PL he spent a whole season doing nothing but sulking.

Basically - because he had a good game last week - it won't surprize me if he is the Knights best for the next month (but then he will sulk for weeks)

We signed Naiquama for 133 k per season. While I wouldn't say I don't rate tighe, it is not a High rating. We are glad he is gone though. Too soft and very erratic.

I'm not happy.

All the potential in the world. His accelleration is up there with Bowen's, he is fast at top-speed, and he runs holes very very well.

If he was in a team with a good playmaker he'd kill it. Walsh gave him some room for the first time this season on Sunday and he killed them.

I can't see him doing too well with Penrith's compressed style though.

Wallace would have stayed for 140k a year.

A ball playing half is what we need.

But he took $180k + at the Broncos...

He is worth $140k at the moment. Penrith would have said "thanks for nothing Peter...goodluck and goodbye"

Bronco's contract was 280k...not freaking 180..

So sorry..he aint worth $250 a season...definately not after 3 season ending injuries and 2 good games out of 12...

we have other options don't worry about that...Tighe adds another dimension and is what we need...a runner and short kicking game...exactly what we need.

At the moment we have too many chiefs and not enough indian's.

TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY THOUSAND .... ! I would love to have Leary's face when his manager offered him a $30k discount...!! Was it Penrith that offered him $180k?

You have a point on the Idians and Chiefs anology also. When Gowie takes control you see the boys rally. When he is forced to watch and wait direction seems lost.

Only blinder he has had since 05 was against the tigers, and that was 2 good runs on the end of quality passes.

Poor man's Owen Craigie.

Lewis will move to 5/8th and Tighe into the centres, with Daniella at either dentre or wing depending on injuries. Good signing in my opinion. Gives us a bit of depth in the outside backs. Something we haven't had since Fats and Elford took a hike.

If I've told you once I've told you more than once. Lewis is not a 5/8.

Like most fans who view this forum can attest, we have put up with your rantings about Pritchard to the centres, Aiton to lock, Priddis to half etc etc etc.

Enough is enough.

Seek help. Dr Pusac is clearly not working for you and you need additional help.

There is a reaon why I did not invite you to sit with me in my reserved seating on the half way line against the Roosters. I cant take it any more Fibroman.

Please get some additional specialist medical attention and who knows you may be better in time for the 2010 season.

You are wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. And over and above that, you're not right in the head.

I never suggested Aiton to lock, I suggested Aiton to 1/2. I never suggested Priddis go anywhere except hooker. Pritchard virtually plays in the centres anyway, and imagine if hed stood at 5/8th or inside centre off a scrum inside the opposition 30m? I wouldn't like to be tackling him 20 metres out from the line one on one.

Lewis is a better centre than 5/8th agreed, but like Gasnier at St George, when you have a class player in your side, he need to have his hands on the ball as much as he can, and Lewis is a tremendous defender and would be rock solid at 5/8th.

Lewis and Gower are the classiest players in our side along with Waterhouse. Anyway........if Williams shows some ability, he may well slip into the #6 in time or maybe Maurice Bobby Blair might hit his straps in first grade in the #6, leaving Lewis free to play in the centres.

Either way kenny, I think Pusic has some openings next Friday in the afternoon. I suggest you get there and have a yack with him.

Actually I like Pritchard in the Centres. It's probably the one thing I think Fibro is sane about.

I'm not a fan of Lewis at 5/8th ... yet. Later, in a few years when Gower has gone. Yes - Lewis to 5/8th.
