With all due respect to Brett Morris, he does not qualify as a player who can 'retire' from rep football.
Quality player but not that good.
One of the great modern day wingers. And arguably the best finisher I've seen.
Nothing but respect for BMoz as he's served his state and country incredibly well.
Why is he the only 1?
Where is Daley's retirement?!
Brett Morris in his hey day at the Dragons was the best winger in the comp. The 'not that good' tag I think is a bit lame. He is slowing down quite considerably though, I think the problems at the Dogs at the moment has been a bit a of factor in his form dropping. Still to be retiring at 30 is surprising.
The fact his handle is BMozzle is enough alone for him to qualify for Immortal status for mine.
Seemed to be a genuinely likeable whom always played hard and fair. Father time seriously slowed him down this year and he is smart enough to know when to call it quits.
I bet he was forced to retire for the likes of Turbo/Mansour
Quality player who stil has atleast 3-4 years left in nrl
With as minimal respect as possible to you, you are wrong.
Very good winger
Very appropriate time to step down with the emergence of Mansour and Tommy T. He played Origin and Test footy with distinction and didn't let anyone down, his Origin record is unfortunate as he was unlucky to be in this extrodinary QLD era but he played a big part in that 2014 victory. Can still remember him putting self awareness out the window in the 2013 WC final. Congrats Brett.
Who will nsw build the team around now ?
can't tell the two Morrises apart
which one is this
The good one
One of the greatest wingers of all time. Highly underrated.
Retiring from rep football is an honour for the greats, which Morris is not. Though he is a very good winger with a reputable career behind him.
It is questionable as to whether he would even be picked for another rep side. Cotric would be eyeing that wing spot by this time next year.
Either way, it is presumptuous of Morris and yourself.
Not that good to a very good winger in the space of a few posts. You're opinion is mixed, which you are certainly entitled to.
I'll go with the others and back the plaudits they gave to Bmoz for his rep career.
The man who is eternally in. What a champion.
Sure, but there'd be a street parade if Mitchell Pearce did this
He is the incumbent and a long-term automatic pick for Aus. He played Origin 3 days ago.
You are obviously trying to be funny, but you're not.
