Catalans probably average more then GWS & GC Suns. Maybe not the fudged "official" crowds, but definitely the real ones.

Not even a troll, just a dumbass, Catalans have been in the top half of SL attendances since they were formed. I think their smallest ever crowd was still more than the Roosters got this week.

Back in the winners circle is Catilans :)

Does anyone know when Myler is back, or why Albert didn't play. Bosc was good tho. Good to not see Plod Richards in the side

Been a disappointment. Failed to developfrench talent in any great numbers, reliant on overseas players despite an entire French league to pull talent from, crowds ok but not brilliant. Is a great weekend away though!

It's not the remit of CD to develop French players any more than it is for Hull to develop English players. Their remit is to put a winning team on the park. I hope there are plenty of Western Australian players available when your Perth team eventually resurface.

As do I, or at least Australian ones would be good, wouldn't want the kiwis and poms having even more players in NRL and kangaroos relegated to also rans would we?

Disagree re dragons, surely one of the main points was to develop the French game, partcilularly at international level, otherwise what is the point? Leigh would offer as much otherwise to superleague

Also disagree about the hull clubs responsibilities, the sooner we stop hiring sht Australians and spend money on developing Yorkshire talent the quicker England will be a force again.

Takes time to develop these French kids, we're only just starting to see the more professional trained juniors coming through now.

More players are going over to England to play, U19's, rumored reserve Catalan team and Toulouse coming through the ranks I would say the French are on schedule.

It takes a minimum of 10 years for a youth set up to even begin producing players, potentially longer as a result of teething issues, building the set up, etc. They're doing alright. Escare is another French player who looks to be decent.

Escare is talented but just not talented enough to stand out at the top level at his small size. He's a middling fullback in Super League and wouldn't make NRL.

Escare has barely played all year and will be leaving the club imminently, hopefully he picks up a deal elsewhere in Super League.
