Channel 10 does it again, toss up on Drew story

Channel 10 has the most unreliable news reports when it comes to sport, it's just ridiculous.

They showed images of Brad Drew with cuts to his nose and claimed that he received them after his clash with Davico.

WRONG!

Drew has had those cuts for a few weeks, I think he busted his nose against the Broncos or Tigers. There was a verbal argument between Davico and Drew, but they didn't come to blows.

Great post! Not only is their sports coverage bad and biased, but their reporting of news sometimes verges on racist and goes back to all the old stereotypes.

Also they do those TERRIBLE headlines, like if Steve Price scored two tries against Wests it would say "Tigers pay Price"

Yep.

They held a press conference, and it was just a verbal confrontation. Not even Casino security was aware of it. It was blown out of proportion somewhat by most sections of the media, mainly because they were both injured, out at 4am and were quite drunk, that's mainly why they were fined, and rightly so.

End of story.

The verbal was Davico question Drew on what he was doing playing golf after he was ruled out this week thanks to a "shoulder injury"

What rubbish Channel 9 got had and Kerry was about ready to kill the bloke that made the deal once he found out. Ask Kerry Packer who got sold the Lemon he has admitted that nine got screwed big time. This is true. Ten did a great deal on the AFL rights - in return for weekend airtime in non-AFL states (when they never rated all that well anyway), they get the entire finals series. And the success of the Swans last year was a big bonus for them.

Nine is the one that got stuffed in the negotiations.

The Canberra story is just bad journalism, no conspiracy.
