Hey fellas. Can we keep the last minute bids to a minimum though? No need to bid 30 seconds out and resetting the clock 48 hours. Last years auction became a bit torturous toward the end.

I'm not going to let this drag on, give it a week and if there's only a few players getting bids I'll set a deadline to get final bids in.

And if an owner loses a franchise tagged player they get 2 1st round draft picks? When do they come along and where do they apply? Are they like compensatory picks in the real NFL draft and just added on as extras at the end of the 2017 first round?

This league is awesome. Glad it's coming into business time. Love studying the rookies and trying to find a hidden gem.

You get a first from the next 2 drafts, so a 2017 1st and a 2018 1st, if someone has multiple firsts in a single draft, it's the highest one from each year.

These aren't comp picks, you get awarded the bidding owner's picks, if someone doesn't have both first rounders available, they are ineligible to bid.

Franchise/transition tags are 100% guaranteed for the one year deal. If a bid is placed the contract becomes like any other, years applied, 20% guarantee.
