A MAN has died after police used capsicum spray on him when a fight broke out during celebrations for the Dragons' NRL grand final win. Police went to the St George Leagues Club in Kogarah, Sydney, about 12.20am (AEDT) today after reports of a fight involving three men.
Police used a Taser on one man, who was subdued and arrested.
He's currently assisting with inquiries at St George Police Station.
Capsicum spray was used to subdue a 35-year-old man, who lost consciousness and was taken to hospital, where he later died.
Police say the cause of his death is not yet known.
Another man was also arrested at the scene and is assisting police at St George Police Station.
