Have to be a bit careful about what you say because you don't know how you would respond if it was your own child in that situation.

Kid reaches into dogs yard, gets bitten. Owner has to put his dog down, pay $3k to the family and pay a fine and court fees and if I read correctly also have a conviction recorded?

Seems a bit excessive to me, Fish handled it with class though
