Remember when the Dragons wore padded bike shorts? Nannies they were nicknamed.

That was a real innovation that was adopted by all the clubs at the time.......

Still waiting for somebody to reveal who started holding an annual "heritage round" before the Dragons....

I didn't realise the Dragons played "rounds". I thought they played games. Competitions have "rounds" not clubs as there are multiple games. The Dragons may have a had a heritage "game" first but not a heritage "round".

Last year St George started the "spin me right round baby right round round" by trying to get the video referee to decide if they were in fact dead or alive

One initiative that was developed by McGregor that was not adopted by the NRL is failing to recognise tries being scored off kicks.

Well, one thing we can't argue about is that the Dragons killed off the shoulder charge...

To be fair, dean never came out and said that he wanted the tackle banned. Say whatever you want about dean young, he was tough as nails.

And if we didn't have numpties running the game they could have easily outlawed GI's shoulder charge without outlawing the ones that don't make contact with the head.

The dragons invented the QLD origin winning streak when they kicked off the NSW selectors obsession with the "great bloke stats man" prototype that was Ben Creagh.

His pioneering ways paving the way for so many nuffies to follow such as Aaron Woods, Josh Jackson, and the the Dugan

Lay the boot into Creagh all you like but to leave Mitchell Pearce off your list is pure gold.

Pearce has no place on the great bloke and stats man list, as he does not meet the first criteria.

He tops the famous name list though.

There also the funny marketing gimmick list for guys like the Wolfman and Idris.

But GI didn't get him in the head.

Did STGI invent alternative facts too?
