  • Undefeated and snaring their second consecutive minor premiership.
  • 7 wins, 1 draw, 0 losses

2. Titans
  • Undefeated in their debut season, a tremendous effort.

  • Highest average (three games or more): Amadean (89.25)
3. Warriors

  • 6 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss
  • Most games: Jesbass, rayroxon (8)
  • Highest average (three games or more): sportsthought (88.60)
3. Ninjas
  • Coming back well to grab fourth spot to qualify for the playoffs.
  • 3 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses
  • Most games: Paulquinn49, jamesgould (7)
  • Highest average (three games or more): Freddo (87.66)

  • 3 wins, 1 draw, 3 losses
  • Most games: bartman (6)
  • Highest average (three games or more): bartman (88.00)
5. Cougars
  • If the premiership was decided on spirit of the competition, the Cougars would have won hands down. The team performed admirably and never gave up, regardless of the opposition. A perfect record in 2008, getting all articles in throughout the year. Only three other teams did this and they occupy the top three spots on the ladder. The Cougars have clearly got the key ingredients of guts and determination and with a couple of extra game breakers, they will be a force to be reckoned with in 2009.
  • 3 wins, 5 losses
  • Most games: Griffo346, NK Arsenal (7)
  • Highest average (three games or more): Mr. Fahrenheit (89.33)
6. Panthers
  • Another season that offered so much. Word is that the Panthers will be back bigger and better in 2009.
  • 2 wins, 6 losses
  • Most games: madunit (8)
  • Highest average (three games or more): Glockers (90.67)
7. Rabbitohs
  • A trouble season with the team down on personnel. A strong recruiyment campaign should dee them back on track in 2009.
  • 2 wins, 6 losses
  • Most games: Master Vippo, Marshall_Magic (5)
  • Highest average (three games or more): Bumble (85.00)
8. Dragons
  • A rookie team full of debutants and far from disgraced in 2008. Great effort to get five articles in for the final round despite knowing they were short odds for the wooden spoon. A few more five post matches should see the Dragons semi-final bound in 2009.
  • 1 wins, 7 losses
  • Most games: Ribs (8)
  • Highest average (three games or more): Ribs (87.87)

It's a shame we finished the season on a quiet note but I'm absolutely stoked to make it to 50 games!

A huge well done to all who have participated this year in the Forum 7s competition. It's been a unique transition this season for myself moving into the ranks of Refs Chief from club captain.

We've seen some new innovations this season with the State of Origin numbvers reduced from 7 starters to 5, ensuring one of the most competitive Origins ever and only the second time QLD have won the annual clash.

The Titans have come in and in their debut season, won the PVP and went undefeated in the round robin. A great achievement.

The Warriors backed up last years effort with another strong performance.

The Eels have battled hard to make the semi's when things looked bleak.

The Baggers showed why they are the Premier side in the F7s.

The Ninjas fought hard to make the finals.

The Dragons, although finishing at the bottom of the table have done well in their debut season with strong showings, including pushing the Bluebags to the limit in a 3 point loss.

Souths season has been below their expectations but 2009 will more than likely see the Bunnies return to the finals.

The Panthers have been involved in some tight tussles and will look at returning to the finals in 2009 after missing out in 2008.

The Cougars missed the finals again but did play with spirited efforts in each, getting all 5 articles submitted in each match.

Now the finals are upon us and we're in for a decent fight with 5 teams vying for the title.

Then after the Grand Final. we've got the World Cup and the annual F7s Awards hosted by yours truly and roosterboy. A lot to look forward to.

Pretty solid effort from the Ninjas to make consecutive semis IMO, only had a 7 man roster and will probably struggle to go round in 2009.
