I really admire how Dykes is playing. However I am fearful that if he stays in the no. 7 players like Tim Smith and Michael Witt wil leave or ask for a release. Remember the last 5/8th that Smith turned into a halfback?? David Penna. he was going to be our halfback for many years to come until a serious neck injury retired him.

On the other hand, Dykes is tried and tested the other 2 aren't really are they??

Yep that is excatly what I meant.

The likes of Thorman, Witt and Smith could always try and get into the side as a 5/8 rather then halfback.

Dykes is our best performing 7 since Sterlo.

It's amazing how quickly Jason Taylor has been forgotten. The success of the 2001 season can be credited in no small part to JT.
