Equilavent to wwe thread pretty obvious really

The feud between CM Punk and Shannon Moore isn't expected to last too long. When Punk slapped Moore on ECW on Sci Fi last week, it was the perfect example of blowing off a program before it really started. Their forthcoming matches will still have a reason though, as this may be Moore's only chance to look good and make a spot for himself in ECW. If he doesn't impress WWE officials with some good matches, he probably won't be pushed again and his future may be in doubt. Considering that Punk is being groomed for a push, this is unlikely to be an even feud as Punk will be going over him strong. Moore will need to save himself by selling well for Punk.

It was only a few weeks ago that Francine appeared to be on the chopping block - WWE was thinking of letting her go after her house show bikini contest program with Kelly Kelly ran its course. However, it looks like WWE has changed their tune on her and that she'll finally be a fixture on ECW programming now

The PWTorch Newsletter reports that Justin Credible is not suspended, but is not being used. At this poin the is just being paid to sit at home and not work for anyone else. Vince McMahon had openly praised his work in matches with CM Punk, and there is talk that they are removing him from doing jobs on TV and planning to bring him back with some direction and a good push.

There are several conflicting stories going around regarding the status of Justin Credible. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that he has gone AWOL. The Pro Wrestling Torch is reporting that he has not been suspended and that he just being paid to sit at home. Although, there is actually a good reason for that and that is because WWE is thinking about reintroducing him down the line with an actual direction to his character according to The Torch. Rather than have him put over other talent all the time, he'd be the one in line for a push. On the otherhand, PWInsider.com is reporting that Credible has telling others that the WWE does not know what to do with him and thus they sent him home. Although, WWE officials claim that they have not been in contact with Justin in recent weeks and that he has no-showed all of their recent ECW events.

sanchez moreno said:
hes nothing more than a jobber. giving him a push would be so hypocritical

To the old school ECW fan base, which Vince is trying to appeal too, he is much more than a jobber. He's been an ECW Champion, so he's way more than a jobber to them.

Indeed, the point is, with the fan base that Vince is trying to get ECW to appeal to, they will happily accept JC as a legit threat. Even though his ability is lacking now, but he showed in his matches with Punk that he can still go.

As reported earlier, WWE signed Rodney Begnaud aka Rodney Mack, 33, to a contract two weeks ago. The report of his signing on WWE.com said that he would be a teacher of sorts for the younger wrestlers while on the road, but that's not the case. He will only be wrestling and given a few month tryout. If he does well, he'll be given a long-term contract. Also, Mack is scheduled to wrestle for the ECW brand and they have a program idea for him. His wife, Carlene Begnaud aka Jazz, is currently on the ECW roster but has been sparingly used thus far. One would think that she'd be brought in to be his manager.

ECW.com has posted an article on original ECW Vixen Francine. The article is pushing her feud with Shelly "Ariel" Martinez. "I don't know who this butt-ugly vampire chick thinks she is," said an angry Francine. "Every time Balls has a match, she keeps sticking her mug into his business. ECW original stick together and Ariel's going to find that out the hard way." Interestingly, one passage of the article read, "The Sci Fi succubus (Ariel) told ECW.com that Francine's role in ECW is limited at best." Click here to read the article. Also, the preview for tonight's ECW on Sci Fi show says that you can expect something to take place between Francine & Balls Mahoney and Ariel & Kevin Thorn.

RE: the first post, and Shannon Moore. I have to say, the little I have seen of ECW I've been impressed with CM Punk and Shannon Moore. Would be a mistake IMO to not retain Moore.

You're very observant aren't you.

Just because he's been squashed, doesn't mean he's not able to showcase his ability.

Again, a load of crap.

How did CM Punk go along way towards getting a WWE contract? By jobbing to the stars in squash matches.

but he had to prove himself before that in the indes

Danny Basham suffered a torn biceps at an ECW house show on the weekend of 9/10. He had surgery this past week and he will be out of action until April 2007. Heyman's two security guards are Doug Basham, and the man replacing Danny, Derrick Neikirk. Neikirk is a DSW wrestler who had been teaming with another DSW wrestler, Ryan O'Reilly, at some recent ECW house shows. They were scheduled to be introduced as a heel tag team within a month or so, but O'Reilly got himself suspended and Neikirk was without a spot. Now it looks like O'Reilly will be the one without a spot when his 30 day suspension ends.

At an ECW house show this past weekend, Tommy Dreamer borrowed a prosthetic leg from a member of the audience to use in his Extreme Rules Match against Test. ECW.com has posted a video of the moment, which you can check out here.

For the record, Hardcore Holly needed 24 stitches to close the wounds on his back. WWE physician Dr. Ferdinand Rios explained, "The injury went all the way down to the fatty tissue; the layer right above the muscle. The injury shouldn't cause him too much of a problem other than the risk of infection from a dirty ring; he'll be on antibiotics to prevent that. The stitches will stay in for ten days and he probably will not be able to wrestle for ten days."

As we previously reported, ECW wrestler Justin Credible has been released by World Wrestling Entertainment. Credible was released by the company earlier this week, however reports suggest that Credible had already been written off by the company.

The former ECW world champion missed an ECW taping and didn’t inform WWE management that he wouldn’t be able to make the event. This is one of the main reason’s he was released from the company.

Justin Credible has been calling several promoters this week looking for independent bookings. WWE had trouble contacting Credible to discuss his release however as he is already looking for indy bookings, it looks like WWE officially informed him of their decision.

Justin Credible’s profile is still up on ECW.com and there is no announcement on the ECW or WWE website confirming his release at this point.

Justin Credible's firing was actually held off for a few days because John Laurinaitis wanted to personally call him to notifying him of his dismissal from the company. Seeing how he couldn't get ahold of him, he faxed him his termination notice. Although, WWE has yet to confirm his release on the company website. His profile is still up on ECW.com at the moment. Also, Credible's wife is currently expecting, so this may not have been the best time to go AWOL from wrestling.
