...tonight, early morning OZ time. Responding to much criticism from a separatist group about the lack of any future plans for the LER which is slowly but surely sinking. Could unveil something (unlikely), probably talk about Toulouse in ESL etc.

Should be interesting in any case.

Not a lot of interest in the presser.

Seems to me the English are keen for Toulouse, but they don't want it to be a basketcase which is understandable. Nigel Wood correctly notes that the french are very competitive at U18 and U19 age levels, but after that not so much.

The only real interesting thing is they mention that the desire to restrengthen the french elite will be part of a greater program to bring better structure to the RLIF and RLEF incuding the appointment of the RLIF head which should happen soon.

Autumn tests:

France - Ireland : 17/18 October
England - France : 24/25 October
Wales - France : 31Oct/1 Nov
France - Scotland : 7/8 November
