3/33.

Right now, I'm on the verge of calling it Game, Set, Match to Pakistan if the Pakis can break this Singh/Dhoni partnership cheaply. With 3 of India's match-winners back in the dressing room (Dhawan, Kohli, Sharma) on a flat pitch, this partnership is the final frontier that stands between Pakistan and victory. One more wicket, and the Indian tail is exposed.

So far, this match is nearly identical to their corresponding group match at Edgbaston, this time Pakistan is dominating.

Booya! Perfect result.

India wrongly chose to bowl first and then turn is a shameful performance on all fronts. They really aren't a crash hot team when better opponents come along, I just wish the rest of the world get their shit together the way Pakistan did today.

Didnt see that coming, the magnitude of the win

I wonder how much of an influence Micky Arthur has had over Kumble in the preparation and mental side of their respective teams in the lead up? Also that no ball wicket when Fahkar was on 8, then went on to get a ton at run a ball. Had he departed at 8 could have been a lot closer result

In any case well done Pakistan, and LOL at team India

THIS was a shock loss few expected.

But India’s incredible 180-run defeat to Pakistan in the Champions Trophy final clearly hit some harder than it did others.

Take Bollywood actor Kamaal Rashid Khan, the outspoken movie star who went on an epic rant that called out every member of the Indian team except plucky all-rounder Hardik Pandya.

BOLLYWOOD’S FIXING CLAIM

Meanwhile, a high-profile Bollywood actor has gone on an extraordinary Twitter rant in which he insisted the final was fixed, that all members of the Indian team are match-fixers and should be banned from playing cricket before, finally, calling for captain Virat Kohli to be jailed.

Indian film actor, producer and writer Kamaal Rashid Khan made the outlandish claims in a ten-post thread in the wake of India’s surprise defeat at the Oval, but his suggestions the match was fixed were also made in the days leading up to the final.

“Virat Kohli should be banned from playing cricket for lifetime for selling pride of 130Cr Indians to Pakistan,” Khan fumed.

“He shud be behind the bars.

“Ppl should throw eggs n tomatoes on players at the airport, when they return from london coz they are real Deshdrohi (traitors), who sold themselves.”

The 42-year-old is a big name in India, with a Twitter following of 4.21 million.

Here’s a selection of his finest work in an incredible meltdown on Sunday.

1)All the players of Indian team should be banned by govt from playing cricket coz they have sold themselves n pride of India. #IndVsPak

Hardik Pandya produced a stunning innings — and was the only Indian player to pass 22 — as he hit six sixes and four fours in a blistering 43-ball 76 before being run out.

He was the only player to escape from Khan’s wrath.

9) Only Pandya didn't know anyting about fixing so he was trying to win match. But then fixer Jadeja made him run out to get defeated 4sure.

10)Entire Indian team can never get out under 100 runs (Excluding 76 of Pandya) if match is not fixed. All Indian players got out themselvs.

DHONI RECEIVES SECURITY BOOST

In the wake of the historic defeat, extra local police rushed to guard the house of superstar wicketkeeper MS Dhoni — with fears the loss would prompt unruly fan behaviour.

The former skipper’s Ranchi mansion is guarded year-round by the local police force, but extra troops are called on for the biggest matches — and those most likely to trigger angry reactions, such as a record defeat in a final against your archrivals Pakistan…

In the 180-run defeat, Dhoni was dismissed by player of the tournament Hasan Ali for four of 16 balls.

Haha wow.....can't just accept his "mighty" lads were outplayed, huh?

V-Rat made a massive error bowling on that wicket, Pakistan are a team than thrives on confidence and his decision (coupled with the Fakhar non dismissal) handed Pakistan all the momentum and confidence on a silver platter.
