Castoff comes on with Roosters up 30 nil. Castoff goes off with the Roosters letting in 24 points. Great contribution. Piss him off.
The Roosters let in 24 points while ace hooker Jake Friend was off the field.
The main culprit for two of the Cowboys' tries was The Count, Anthony Minichiello, first with his dropped bomb, and then with his mad, impossible to retrieve pass near the Roosters goal line to Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.
The other culprit for two more of the Cowboys tries was incompetent refereeing: the refs missed a blatant and deliberate forward pass, which should have been a penalty to the Roosters, just prior to the Cooper try (when Pearce attempted a high tackle and was brushed off by Cooper); the refs missed a tackle in the air of Anthony Minichiello, which should have been a penalty to the Roosters, but instead led to consecutive sets in the Roosters 20 which resulted in a Thurston try after Thurston sidestepped Sonny Bill Williams. In neither of these illegitimate Cowboys tries was Casty a culprit.
Casty had nothing to do with the bad plays by Minichiello, Pearce, and SBW, nor with the refs mistakes.
Instead the intrepid and courageous Frenchman Remi Casty stood out with a solid, mistake free game.
