:shock: I wasn't expecting that. I am truly humbled to be in such great company at the top.

I think the quality of the 7's this year though is shown not only by the quality of the articles of the people that scored points, but more so by the quality of those that didn't. If this is a sign of things to come it's going to be a cracker of a season and I for one can't wait.

Oh, ffs - Yakstorm average - 8.65. EA average - 8.95. I guess the answer is NO!

Only the scores that points have been awarded for are included in the averages for this table. The system worked last year without the carrying on. I'd like to think it'll work the same way this year. If you don't like it, see Willow and get some other idiot to give up their time to do it.

BP, I think Azkatro thought you meant average Best and Fairest points per match (e.g. he has 5 points from 2 matches and EA has 5 points from 3, so his average is higher). That's what I thought you meant as well, at first.

But most of all, I think we are all just taking the piss, you are doing a good job.

No, my aplogies boys / girls. I'm just sick to death of giving up my time, of which I have sweet FA of at present, to do these things (and I'm not just talking about the table), only to have the whingers come out of the woodwork. I can count on one hand the people who put their hands up to keep this game afloat last year and work damn hard to nurse it back to health. No one offered an opinion, yet alone a finger to help back then but, now - everyone wants their four cents worth when things don't go their way. I'm pretty much over it, to be honest.

Anyway, for the record - and EA my apologies for using you as an example - the points average is done in this way.

Rd 1 - EA scored - 8.3 and got no points

Rd 2 - EA scored - 8.8 and got 3 points

Rd 3 - EA scored - 9.1 and got 2 points

Average = score's in games in which points were awarded added, divided by the number of games in which points were scored.

In EA's case - 8.8 (Rd2) + 9.1(Rd3) = 17.9 divided by 2 (Rd 2 & Rd 3 games where he was awarded points) = 8.95.

This table is checked throughout the season and is also checked and sent to another person to check before the last round of the season is put up to eliminate any mistakes at the all important final count.

Hope this helps and doesn't give me more of a headache than the one I've already got.
