How does Steven Smith go as a player?

I went to primary school with him back in the day. He any good?

Can bat, can bowl.

Scored a mountain of runs last year in 1s tus his call up to the team mid-season.

Bowl pretty flat leggies not dissimilar to CWhite.

Fair enough, I remember him carrying the School team on his own back in 2001 i think, He would virtually bowl their whole team out and score his 25n.o before having to retire virtually every game. Good to hear he is doing well.

from what I have seen of him he is very aggressive,

needs to be more selective in his shots and bat for longer

Well keep in mind he is only a year older then me, making him 19 or so cant blame him for that sorta stuff.

He was the leading run scorer last season and 2nd leading wicket taker so his spinners can't be that bad. Also I read somewhere that he could be our best hope for a spinner.
