We are a small amateur team in Wigan with a strong junior section through all age groups and an open age team - As a community club we give people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to play sport and in particular rugby league.

Our matches are played outside Shevington on hired council pitches and during this time we have sought our lifelong ambition of having our own ground.

That ambition is about to be realised we have secured funding together with Shevington FC to build three pitches - this work is almost complete at a cost of £300k or A$500k.

Our next challenge is to raise A$160k as partnership funding for a community clubhouse

    Can you help ?

We need people to go on line and register with Aviva and vote for our project see the link below

It would be fantastic if you would adopt us and get the NRL fans to support our bid

    Thank you so much.

As a club we've been around for more than 25 years old, growing from a single senior side to a thriving junior set up with teams at almost every age serving over 200 local young people of all abilities.

Our own home would see us improve how we serve our community! We're already in schools trying to tackle obesity through "get active with the Sharks" and we'd love to do more.

    Keep voting folks!!

A big thanks to those trying to push this along

As our vote stands at the moment we are sixth out of 740 projects we are losing out to a set of swings,a school playground, a boxing club agymnastics Club and an obscure Blurt Charity.

It’s all very tight please get your finger out we are relying on you guys

Ps I land in Melbourne on Sunday going to watch the mighty Poms Then off to Auckland we’re a stand out display sees us through to the Final. Then in the final after a disastrous first half coupled with yet more dodgy refereeing We turn the game around to win comfortably bliss and the cup returns home to its rightful home

BUT I would swap all that for a couple of hundred votes so get voting help a poor Pom out so that one day this dream will come true

    Whey hey
