Cronulla second rower Paul Gallen was the only player not to take an early guilty plea today following charges from the weekend’s round one matches.
Gallen will face the judiciary tomorrow for his contrary conduct charge.

Yeah he had an advantage over the others because he will be out of action for a while. So he can't really lose in challenging the decision.

Did anyone notice Nick Graham giving Kimmorley a touch up after he tackled him. If that isn't contrary conduct then I dunno what is.

if kimmorley wants to continue to attack at the head of players, they will continue to get annoyed!

Why all the surprise? There's one rule for some and another for others. Always has been.
Rugby League has always been the Greatest Game of All marred by incompetent, sometimes corrupt officialdom on and off the field. Nothing has changed in 50 years. The Greatest Game of All could have been anything but always seems to trip or put it's foot in its mouth.
It's growth performance over it's history has been mediocre to say the least.
The world's best sporting product presented to the world by off the field salesmen who's only interest is holding onto their own jobs and their own little kingdoms. F**k the sport? As long as the officials maintain their position.
Example: the Super League War? The League was offerred money to expand and improve. The result: a civil war between those who would gain POWER and those wanting to hold on to the POWER. F**k what would be good for the sport!
Conversely, Rugby took the money from the same source, set up the Super 12, and have never looked back. A less attractive game just keeps on growing.

Definatley suspended for 2 weeks. He pleaded guilty and he is out for up to 4-6 weeks through injury.

Also on Fox sports news, just for a laugh, I just saw Lance Thompson talking about playing in the front row this week. Thats hilarious. Against the Warriors too, they'll eat him alive!

The first one might have been but the second one that didn't connect very well wasn't. He may over react a bit but not this time.

He got pinned with 200 points.
That equals 2 weeks, and NO CARRY OVER POINTS!

Sweet. He's out injured anyway, so basically he may as well be not guilty.

Oh, and just on Skandalis.... he apparently was "trying to restrain" Gallen. Yeah? Funny way of restraining someone!!!! A few punches to the head is not restraining another person, it's FIGHTING.

NRL Judiciary - New people, same old crap.
