Lack of centres so need Munster and where is Darius Boyd the starting winger?
Both can cover multiple positions and I think Mansour may force his way in.

Nigh on half that 24 are likely to be playing for other nation..or could have if their "other nation had qualified..

Would be great if Brown was given a Kangaroo debut in the WC. He had an awesome season and deserves it.

Campbell-Gillard for Vaughan. Jennings dumped for NSW so unlikely to be recalled for Aust. Only two fullbacks needed, pick specialist wingers not fullbacks out of position.

why would nrl.com put milford in the squad when hes already been ruled out LOL. I feel as if Felise Kaufusi is incredibly underrated, i know he was only 18th man for QLD, but i feel he should take 24, especially for Josh jackson. And in the prime minister squad that plays PNG, Api Koroisau was named as the starting hooker, so wouldn't he be the backup hooker?

The PM's side did not include players from teams still in the running as at the start of last weekend. Still, I'm not sure Friend is the best option available. Also I'd have Morgan in the 6 and Maloney out, or at least down the order if they must have 2 backup halves. You might consider Moses but he's hot and cold.

Woods will be selected despite his form being average and his team out of finals contention. I think Hunt picked as utility based on his good form for the Broncos. Whole backline QLD.

what about wade graham and luke lewis? I wouldn't be playing players in positions they haven't been in all season either - a woods is a big no no for mine

Personally wouldnt have either although they are good players. Graham was disappointing in origin 2 and 3 and felt was ill disciplined in a lot of games for the Sharks. Wouldnt have him ahead of Kaufusi given his season. Woods meh you know what you are gonna get.

Munster and Boyd would be fine I think.

The rest of the squad for me...Klemmer, Papalii, Jackson, Feldt, Friend and Gagai.

Those who are bothered about who is in the Roos side will need to prepare themselves for the fact Ben Hunt is going to be in the squad to cover hooker and half.

Boyd has made a career at wing at rep level and Holmes has played plenty of wing. Don't see an issue with either playing there.

I wouldnt be a fan of Tedesco doing it though.

I think this is very much in the realms of possibility.

Selection is historically based on rewarding players who have excelled in the top teams and also a combination of the incumbency value but also combinations from Queensland Origin.

Rcg missed his chance when he had minimal post contact metres in week one final v manly, even though he was better the next week
