Katoa has also been picked for Tonga and Chricton for Samoa.

Tyrone Phillips has also been picked for Fiji.

Cross our fingers for no injuries

thought's on Cleary's last two games since his Origin debut....

he's looked a shadow of the player he can be IMO (granted the clutch Field goal & the set up for the Phillips gimme try that he gave up), Cleary has looked really off, should we be concerned ???

hopefully NSW winning Game 2 gives him more confidence and no worry/concern on his mind that NSW failed to wrap up another series early...

Commenting on both the haves, they've looked really poor. Crediting Cleary with setting up that almost try is probably overstating it, since Whare did most of the work. That's 5 full games they've played together and only one of them was any good.

We should be about as concerned about Cleary as we should Maloney. Both have been a shadow of themselves... and the whole team has been flat since the bye.

I think Cleary has been asked to sit back and let Maloney run the team. Which was what everyone wanted to happen.

Cleary had done the hard work beating his guy and Whare got the ball with a retreating and broken defensive line.

Whare did a great job but Cleary created that opportunity.

Edit
But I am fine with Cleary losing points for only beating that nuffie Boyd Fraudner. Turned him inside out

Took Thurston and Morgan a fair while in 2015 to click. Getting the balance right with 2 dominant playmakers isn't easy.

They seemed to get things right in the Dragons game, but the two games since Origin have been ordinary.

I wouldn’t be surprised if what happened is that they were given different direction at club level (ie probably nothing too strict as to the division between them) but something much more strict for Origin (i.e we know that it was made pretty clear for Origin that Maloney was to run the team).

Perhaps whatever was told to Cleary in Origin has disrupted things at a club level - it would be hard to ‘switch styles’ with your halves partner and back again in a week.

There was a story Yesterday where Cleary admitted he struggled mentally with Origin. His 2 games since have shown that.

If we win the series this Sunday not only will our halves get a confidence boost. Origin will not be a distraction or mental burden for them leading into Game 3. If we lose this Sunday it could be a bigger distraction.

Hopefully we make Game 3 a dead rubber. Put the pressure on QLD players for it to stop us humiliating them with 3 nil whitewash

He's gone missing at the same time Jimmy is back in 2017 form. When Maloney is having a bad game Nathan needs to have the confidence to tell him to get the f**k out of the way.
