- Jake Webster (likely)
- Stever Turner (matter of time)
- Antonio Kafusi (possible)

- Willie Tonga (unlikely - most likely to Cowboys)
- Michael Henderson (possible)
- Nate Myles (possible)
- Craig Fitzgibbon (unlikely - depends on talks with Roosters tomorrow, they knocked back his two year contract, he is looking at one year. Loss of Morley and Cross should see him stay at Bondi)

I`d play Mathers on the wing, move Webster into the centres, start O`Dwyer at lock with Swain on the bench and sign a big mobile second rower to partner Laffranchi. I reckon a change of clubs could bring the best out of Dane Carlaw and that he`d fit into this side extremely well.
The side is starting to look very competitive in any case.

THE STAR: Marsden State High student Chris Sandow is one of the most talked-about juniors in some time. A statewide audience will witness his debut for Souths Logan, a week after he scored two spectacular tries for the Queensland Under 17s against New South Wales at Suncorp Stadium. Already signed by the Gold Coast Titans and a true showman, he now has to prove himself in the senior arena.

Has anyone heard about him or seen him before? I read in the sunday mail that he's the next Matty Bowen.

The comparison to the Matt Bowen was always going to be on - he is Aboriginal and is small in stature with the same type of game in attack. Steps of both feet, quick off the mark, can play up in the line as first receiver and is a great kick returner. Chris is a very good halfback though is making a name for himself in the fullback position and we will see more in the media attempt to hype him up as we head toward 2007.

Sandow will be part of the senior squad in 2007 at some stage and will push hard for at least a wing position.

I don't think that they will start the season with Graham in the starting line-up, they'll start with Peterson because he has more experience.

I think you will find we will look for another specialist centre coming from; Brett Delaney (Eels), Mick Devere (Huddersfield) or Josh Hannay (Cowboys). I am really hoping we can secure the services of Delaney personally though it may be a stretch at the moment. We will learn more over the coming week or two as there are players we are targetting. Josh Graham will be given some time to find his feet again in the QLD Cup IMO and will push for a spot later in the season either at centre in the second row.

Raider_69's team is pretty much spot on at the minute minus Matt Petersen from the bench. I think we will find a utility or unleash Chris Sandow who can cover fullback/halfback and if required spell Nathan Friend at hooker.
