Griffen can’t do the deal and land the prize. We have one of them to in Mcfu// noodle.I say tally ho and sack him now while the irons hot.Really Mary is not taking us to the promised land.He is just a imposter. If he can’t get us over the line against all the bottom eight teams we have to punt him with his boys club.At least they have some red hot attack the panthers we have a clunky miss fireing Park footy attack which parra is going to spank on Saturday night.Hope I’m wrong. But punt the shiny headed one.Go on I dare you board grow a set.

The Penrith Panthers are expected to part ways with coach Anthony Griffin just four weeks out from the finals.

The Panthers notified Griffin on Monday afternoon that his services would not be required beyond the end of this season despite being contracted until the end of 2020.

NRL.com understands there is a possibility Griffin could walk as early as this week, leaving assistant coach Cameron Ciraldo as the caretaker for the rest of the season.

It's understood Penrith have made the decision to part ways with Griffin because of a belief he is unable to take the club to a premiership.

The Panthers have won their past two matches, coming from behind to topple Manly and Canberra over the past fortnight.

However, it has done little to disguise the issues that have been brewing over the past couple of months at the club, with the board stepping in on Monday to bring it to a head.

Ciraldo is understood to be close to star Panthers halfback Nathan Cleary and could play a leading role in helping to keep him at the club beyond 2019.
I don’t get that Cleary bit?
Didn’t Gould recently say he was free to leave if he want to play for his dad?

How’s the Gus “5 year plan” looking?
To be honest, it's coming along mostly well. There was a lot of misrepresentation of that quote over the years.

The 5 year plan was never about premierships. It was about salvaging an absolute mess of a club that was riddled with debt, without talent and staring down a dark pit of a rebuild.

Yes they've had a couple of coach hurdles in that time, but so have many clubs, including us. Panthers now have one of the most threatening junior stocks in the NRL and are now finals regulars. The 5 year plan was always about getting to a competitive point and they have

Gould has been rumoured lately as a candidate for the CEO role at the Dragons.

If Gould was unhappy with Griffin then McGregor would be shitting his pants if it proved to be so.

Bring it on I say.
This would be fantastic.

One thing I love about Gould is his care for the players coupled with his no nonsense way of running the club.

Mary's greatest strength is also his weakness, and that's that he's close to our players. This makes them trust him, but also makes him unable to make the hard choices.

Gould at the Dragons is never going to happen. It will be a Doust legacy boy. I think that ship is already sailing.

Its a shame our board is happy to continue to accept mediocrity and excuses.
