Basically Melbourne & Manly have the best combination with the Cowboys there abouts if they can find a suitable partner for JT.

Miller/Marshall 2nd worst half pairing in the league? I doubt it. Even if Miller stinks Tigers still have Sironen (looked good last year) and Marshall is still class.

I think at least a few have emerged in the last few years (Johnsons, Cherry-Evans, Foran, Reynolds), before that there'd barely been anything of real quality since Thurston and Marshall in the early-mid 00's.

Cronk I guess, but otherwise it's all been good average club players like Pearce but nothing of real class

Lots of new combinations next year so it comes down to which ones work.

I'm a Dragons supporter. Kyle Stanley was earmarked to play five eight a couple of years ago. Hornby held him back. Rest assured when he is back from injury, he will walk into that position. I rate the Dragons as 14/20.

Re Bulldogs, I can almost guarantee that Hodgkinson will be the half back come finals time, not Keating. 14/20

Re Sharks, I think Chad Townsend will end up at half with Robson moving back to hooker. 14/20.

Re Cowboys, I think Robert Lui will knock out Morgan but it may take a few games. 16/20.

Re Eels, I think Izzy will play fullback and Hayne will move into the halves. As to how he combines with Sandow, who knows. Neither organise at all. 12/20 - 16/20

when you can't even suggest some teams halves then you have no reason to rate any halves

Roosters while on paper have good halves...down to it Pearce is massively over rated while Maloney can go well on occasion is yet to see consistency so it baffles me how they could be the top halves along with Melbourne and Manly

Parra halves will be 6 Kelly 7 Sandow which is a much more 'stable' pairing then Roberts and Sandow. Kelly is in the mould of Cronk and shown in his 6 games for us this year before injury he has more organisational skills than Sandow....while Chrissy has the flair that Kelly lacks at this stage. While still not the best halves they are a better prospect than Roberts and Sandow

Broncos have a good pairing in Wallace and Prince....Wallace showed early he can take leadership qualities but the lack of a calm head in the halves proved to much pressure...Prince could be that player he needs to help him out.

Titans have Aiden Sezer at 6 and i presume would be playing Beau Henry at 7 first up. Sezer is a great prospect and Henry needs consistency and maybe this could be his chance.

Tigers...i presume if Marshal is 6 then Miller will be 7 so with a class act like Marshal in the halves a rookie has the chance to shine. if Potter chosses to play Marshal at 7 then Anasta will be 6...not a terrible pairing imo

Warriors...do you not follow the game? they signed Thomas Leuluai...so Johnson and Leuluai is a good pairing...with Jones taking up a coaching role i think Warriors may improve in the halves

Dragons...Soward and Fien will be the first up halves pairing but they also bought Drinkwater from Manly who may play some first grade and is apparently a good prospect


Superior Easts/BHP....do some research before you rate combinations so you can rate them all evenly and fairly
