Cam was leaning in and crowding Latimore playing the ball (the football, not his balls). Cam should have been penalised. Thank goodness the refs played the advantage. How dirty would you be as a supporter if they called it back to the ruck after your team had scored a try?

Mate, any other player from any other team and you'd be laughing your tits off

Just enjoy it for what it is, light hearted humour towards one of the most hated players in the game (every club has one, your club is no exception)
That’s just not true. Hitting someone in the balls is not something I find amusing. It’s a dirty play regardless of if you like Smith or not. And the fact that people would rather laugh at it instead of scorn the act really says a lot

When you consider that Smith has twisted, turned, rubbed & grabbed various body parts of player after player, year after year(with little to no punishment)then a simple, innocuous, knock to the nuts is small fry in comparison.

Difference being everybody here would cry bloody murder for any thing Cameron Smith touches. Nobody has said anything about this ball hit except “lol at Smith” “Smith got what he deserved” and shit like that.

And since when is missing a grand final been considered little to no punishment? People here like to think Smith is this evil player that is as dirty as they come (people actually believe he tried to permanently injure Jarrod Crocker) and gets away with everything, but it’s just not true. Smith gets penalised a lot, and every time it happens it’s always the same posts on these forums “holy shit they actually penalised Smith” “referee Smith finally gets penalised” but if people actually paid attention they would see Smith is probably one of the most penalised players especially for the Storm. Everyone complains about Smith talking to the refs, which is just ridiculous, that’s part of his job, every other captain and a lot players that aren’t captain talk and argue with the refs, but Smith is the only one people complain about.

Once Jeremy Latimore’s list of grubby incidents gets to half the length of Smith’s, everyone will scream bloody murder.
One down, plenty to go.

It’s naive or amusing(not sure which one)how you have completely missed the irony.
As for missing a grand final all I can say is if the cap cheating was picked up earlier he would have missed that game anyway.

Was such a good day seeing Cam let in two tries and get run over by Nightingale and hurt his vadge and Billy get bashed up by everyone and diving instead of having the balls (pun intended) to take the hits.

Bunch of flat out, old as farq merkins.

Bashed.

Perhaps if other captains continually spoke to the ref the way Smith does, people might complain about them too...

Smith one of the most penalised players? lol no

As for "missing a grand final little to no punishment" - that's some woeful attempts at context. That happened in 2008. TEN years ago. His sixth season in the NRL from memory.

Let's not forget this was while he and his teammates were benefiting from systematic cap rorting by their club...
